Linda Turok – Certified Orthodontic Assistant

Born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia, Linda moved to Summerville in 1993 when she married her husband Kim. Linda loves being an orthodontic assistant and considers it to be one of the greatest blessings in her life. Since beginning her career as a high school senior in 1968, Linda is proud to say she has only worked for three orthodontists and has been assisting with Dr. Fulcher since 1997. Linda is the proud mama of two grown children and two stepchildren. What Linda loves most about her job is how well she gets to know our patients during treatment. Linda enjoys going to work in the morning and genuinely loves the people she works so closely with each day. If she’s not in the office helping create beautiful smiles, you will find Linda spending time with her six grandkids, knitting or reading fun mystery novels and books about the history of the Lowcountry.

Carolyn Ganis – Certified Orthodontic Assistant

Carolyn is not just an orthodontic assistant – she is a crawfish eating contest veteran and chili cook-off champ! Carolyn has been an orthodontic assistant for over 20 years and has had the privilege of working with Dr. Fulcher since 2003. She enjoys being able to work for Dr. Fulcher because not only is he a good boss, but a great dad and a dedicated community leader. Carolyn also loves the fact that her co-workers have become like a second family to her. Carolyn’s favorite part of her job is getting to know our patients and watching their confidence grow as their smiles change. Outside of the office, you will usually spot Carolyn cracking oysters at local oyster roasts, fishing with her new husband David or spoiling her beloved maltipoo Molly.

Megan Taylor – Treatment Coordinator

Megan is a true Summerville native and the lone Clemson fan in the office! Megan has over 20 years experience as a certified orthodontic assistant and has worked with Dr. Fulcher since 2004. In her capacity as Treatment Coordinator, Megan is one of the first people you meet when you come in. She loves having the opportunity to meet a wide variety of different aged patients, and enjoys explaining how orthodontic treatment can enrich their lives. When she’s not at work, you will likely catch Megan hanging poolside or spending time outdoors with her family. Edisto Beach and Disney World are two of Megan’s favorite destinations!

Brittney Guyton – Certified Orthodontic Assistant

Born and raised in Summerville, Brittney has lived in the same house since she was 2 and has been enjoying her time as an orthodontic assistant with Dr. Fulcher since May of 2011. Seeing the final result of treatment and watching both kids and adults become more confident with their new smiles is Brittney’s favorite thing about her job! When she isn’t helping create beautiful smiles, she stays busy cheering on her favorite NASCAR driver, indulging her sweet tooth and of course raising her girls to be die-hard Gamecocks fans. Brittney shares her home with her daughters, Lexie, Allie and Bristol and their wild German Shorthair puppy, Remmie Rose!

Jane Walters – Scheduling Coordinator

Born in the Lowcountry and raised a Gamecocks fan, Jane has been the smiling face at the reception desk since 2012. What Jane enjoys most about working at Lowcountry Orthodontics is the great atmosphere, getting to spend her days with her co-workers and seeing our happy, smiling patients walking through the door. She also loves getting to participate in all of the fun community events around her hometown of Summerville, where she will always bump into someone she knows! When she isn’t busy greeting patients or scheduling appointments, you will likely find Jane catching up on all the latest Royal Family news or hanging out at home with her cat Roana watching reruns of Gilmore Girls or the Office.

Erin Hanson – Financial Coordinator

Born and raised in the mountains of Northern California, Erin is our resident outdoors girl. When she isn’t busy ensuring a pleasant and positive patient experience at our reception desk, you will often find her trying to get outside to tackle trails in the Upstate or paddle her kayak along the beautiful waterways of the Lowcountry. Before her husband’s job at Boeing brought them to South Carolina in 2014, Erin and her family lived near St. Louis, where they spent most of their time cheering for the Cardinals. Erin loves that a big part of her job helping people understand their insurance benefits and making sure that people realize how financially do-able braces really are! Erin lives in Summerville with her husband Nate, her son Jake, their two crazy kitty cats Gryffin and Penny Lane, and Cheese – the laziest Jack Russell Terrier on Earth.

Stacy Kuszmaul – Certified Orthodontic Assistant

Stacy is one of our fantastic assistants here at Lowcountry Orthodontics. Before moving to Summerville in 2014, she and her family lived in Ohio. Stacy enjoys getting to know all of our awesome patients and having the opportunity to boost their confidence through orthodontics. In her free time, Stacy loves spending time outdoors with her sons, getting good deals at garage sales and rooting against Ohio State.
